Content is still king, emperor and the Big Kahuna all in one.  But, writing a million blogs is exhausting. Sometimes it’s challenging pumping out one per week. The good news is that there are ways to boost your SEO, without writing content.

Here are a few ideas to check out:

  1. Optimize your page speed. If your site takes too long to load, people aren’t going to wait. They’ll click out and look at a different result. You can check your site speed with Google’s PageSpeed Insights. It will tell you exactly how to improve your site speed.
  2. Update old content. Freshen up old blogs or webpages by updating links, changing up the copy a little, adding new stats and plugging in a few new, relevant keywords you want to be ranking for.
  3. Build internal linking. If you have a high-traffic page, add copy links to pages that are underperforming. This allows all of your pages to receive some love, boosting the overall SEO of your entire site. The point is to link new blogs to some older, less read blogs. It’s good for the reader and for Google.
  4. Last but not least, customize your snippets. Tools like Yoast can help you with this if it’s not a built-in feature on your website. Just be sure to create a catchy SEO Title and the right meta description.
