Want some SEO marketing tips you can use today? Listen in.
Many small business owners don’t have a SEO marketer on their teams. They’re doing SEO marketing themselves getting decent traffic at a price they can afford, unless they’re hiring a SEO marketing specialist.
If you’re looking to improve your SEO and keep things in-house, consider the EAT strategy.
Build Your Expertise. Google perceives you as an expert if you’re satisfying the people who Google you. So, how do you make a customer get want they want on search? Two simple ways to start. First, look at the keywords your audience is using (there should be a match of what you do and what they are looking for). Second, write compelling valuable content and post often. This helps with organic search ranking. Repetition of excellent content improves your online brand and reputation.
Demonstrate Authoritativeness. Experts are a dime a dozen. If you pay attention to Google and you probably should, they like backlinks to your website and social media shares. Look at getting backlinks from relevant sites and create a reciprocal arrangement. A link to Staples, an authoritative site on its own, probably has more domain power than JoJo’s Earthworm Company, no offense, JoJo. It’s also important to have a guest blog strategy and promote your content on social media.
Be Trustworthy
Learn to love Google and Google will love you – and trust your website. Show up online as a professional brand, build a solid reputation with great reviews, and make a note to check your domain authority.
